2011 Went By So Fast!
Crazy fast! I can't believe how much happened this year! I released 5 singles! I recorded over 10 songs in the studio, and 100s of demos. Yes, 100s! And I love every one of them! Super fun to hear my singles get played on the radio and MTV! All of the recordings were done in Nasville, Joshua Tree, and Orange County. It was lots of fun to record with new people who have now become good friends of mine. Also it was cool to play shows in Austin, LA, Long Beach, and OC. Plus I got a good band behind me that I'm stoked about. Good dudes. Funny memory was to play House of Blues OC and then head with my drummer over to Sayers to sing Little Richard. That was a fun night! Some of the highlights were Sayers Club, House of Blues, Viento Y Agua, Hole in the Wall, Silverlake Lounge, Lot 1, Wahoos, Hotel Cafe, and more I can't remember right now...I liked the marathons of playing multiple shows in one night across town!
Also, super fun to work on my artwork with my best friend this year. So many photo shoots! And tons of designs for my CD covers. We seriously have over 1500 badass photos that nobody else has seen yet! Just did a photo shoot this weekend that looked fucking rad! Also made so many fun youtube videos/movies that were rad!
2011 far exceeded my expectations for the new solo career, and 2012 is already looking to be super busy. I'm really excited to release more music, and play more shows. I hope everyone enjoyed the songs/shows in 2011, and I hope everyone is as excited about 2012 as I am!
